We’re Lagan Aviation & Infrastructure, a leader in the construction and maintenance of airport and military infrastructure worldwide. As a Site Agent on our Jamaica Accelerated Bridges Project you’ll lead the successful delivery of bridge infrastructure works across Jamaica, operating in a logistically complex, geographically dispersed, and culturally dynamic environment.

You will take full ownership of site operations, demonstrating resourcefulness, adaptability, and proactive leadership to overcome challenges such as remote access, tropical weather, and supply chain constraints.
With over 30 years of experience in over twenty countries we operate in logistically challenging environments. We have successfully delivered projects in Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Caribbean.

We’re also a key delivery partner to the Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO), providing support to the UK Armed Forces at Ministry of Defence (MOD) bases throughout the UK and overseas.

What you’ll do

As an experienced Site Agent, we’ll support you to develop a rewarding career with us. The focus of your role will be to take charge at the sharp end of delivery, leading complex bridge works from planning through to completion. You’ll be the driving force on site—coordinating multidisciplinary teams, managing labour, plant and materials, and keeping the programme on track in challenging, high‑pressure environments. From overcoming logistics constraints to finding smart, practical solutions for access and supply, this is a hands‑on leadership role where your decisions genuinely shape outcomes.

Beyond delivery, you’ll be a visible and trusted representative of the business, building strong relationships with local communities, authorities, and stakeholders. You’ll champion a strong safety and environmental culture, lead safe systems of work, and ensure the highest technical and quality standards are achieved on site. The role is based in Jamaica.

What you’ll bring

• A degree in Construction, Civil Engineering or related subject with at least 5 years of experience in a civil engineering role

• A desire to deliver and exceed client expectations through challenge and problem solving

• Experience of using AutoCAD or other equivalent software, assimilating design outputs and ensuring the works are set out correctly

In addition, you will be able to demonstrate considerable experience of ensuring the accurate preparation and organisation of programmes of work activities as well as being commercially aware of economies and efficiencies that can be realised. As a senior manager you should be able to evidence leadership and management skills to enable colleagues to deliver a project and reach their potential.
