Role Overview

With over 30 years of experience in over twenty countries we operate in logistically challenging environments. We have successfully delivered projects in Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Caribbean.

Opportunities now exist with our Jamaica Accelerated Bridge Programme. This is a US$100-million infrastructure initiative to build or upgrade 55 climate-resilient bridges across the island over a 30-month period. Replacing and upgrading roughly 55 permanent vehicular and pedestrian bridges (along with 7 emergency structures) to replace century-old infrastructure. The project is being led by the Ministry of Economic Growth and Infrastructure Development (MEGID) and implemented by the National Works Agency (NWA) using a faster build-and-install approach.

To be part of the team we are building we need experienced and skilled civil engineers, construction managers and foremen as well as a quality engineer and a logistics manager. Other roles may also become available.

We are keen to connect with candidates (locally based, is ideal) who hold the right to work within Jamaica. We are open to overseas candidates and will support work visa applications.

What you’ll bring

• Willingness to work across Jamaica, some sites are remote

• Valid right to work in Jamaica or willing to undertake visa application (supported by Lagan)

• Experience in construction, infrastructure, bridges, or related sectors

• Overseas experience beneficial

• Interested in future project opportunities with a well-established global contractor

In addition, you will be able to demonstrate considerable experience of ensuring the accurate preparation and organisation of programmes of work activities as well as being commercially aware of economies and efficiencies that can be realised. As a senior manager you should be able to evidence leadership and management skills to enable colleagues to deliver a project and reach their potential.
